This period of storage is from September 1, 2020 through May 31, 2021 and includes blocks and stands. Starting June 1, 2020, additional storage will be billed at prevailing rates.
OUTDOOR TERMS
Half storage fee due at time of haul, balance due February 1, 2021 INDOOR TERMS: Invoiced at time of contract being returned. MEASUREMENTS: All measurements listed on the front of this agreement are subject to verification by Atlantic Boats, Inc.
INDOOR STORAGE TERMS
All maintenance/repairs/winterization/commissioning must be done by Atlantic Boats, Inc. During the winter months, we will paint the bottom (if painted) and wax the hull and topsides.
LAUNCHING DATES
Owners scheduling winter services and who have requested an early launch date, will receive appropriate consideration and preference. Actual launching dates will be dependent upon spring weather, physical location of boat and previously scheduled services with ATLANTIC BOATS, INC.
WORK ON BOATS
All Indoor Storage maintenance/repairs must be done by Atlantic Boats, Inc.
OUTSIDE LABOR
No outside contractors, service organization, or individuals will be permitted to undertake any work on boats stored at ATLANTIC BOATS, INC., without written permission.
RESPONSIBILITY
ATLANTIC BOATS, INC. shall incur no liability of any kind whatsoever for any damage resulting from fire, it being understood that the owner of the boat in storage will carry such fire insurance as he desires for his protection. Nor, shall ATLANTIC BOATS, INC. be liable for any damage resulting from any strike, vandal, theft, riot, rodent or act of God, which includes all elements. All vessels shall be handled at the owner’s risk, subject to reasonable care and handling. ATLANTIC BOATS, INC. shall assume no liability for the condition of the vessel. Likewise, ATLANTIC BOATS, INC. shall not be responsible for any gasoline left in the boat nor for any damage due to freezing of machinery or equipment not authorized by the owner to be winterized by ATLANTIC BOATS, INC. In addition, the owner does hereby indemnify and hold harmless ATLANTIC BOATS, INC. and its’ directors, officers, shareholders, employees, and agents of and from any and all liability, claims and demands for damage to the property of and injuries to, or for the property damage and personal injuries caused by the owner, his family, employees, guests or invitees.
CHANGES
It is agreed that this document can be altered, modified or amended only by writing, and signed by the owner and appropriate officer of ATLANTIC BOATS, INC.
